Days are roughly 28-30 °C, with evenings cooling down to between 12-14 °C just the right temperature for a light jacket but not so cold that dinner has to be taken indoors. The light is incredible. November sunlight is always beautiful, but the low-angle sun of the late afternoon gives the sandstone a deep golden warmth that makes every building and lane look magnificent.
Cultural performances, the desert experience, everything is in full swing by November. The season is at its height, but the madness of December hasn’t set in yet. The energy is palpable but not overpowering.

We could tell you that Jaisalmer is wonderful year-round. It may not be completely truthful.
Between April and June, it is only suitable for guests who like extreme desert heat, as temperature reaches 38–46 °C. Sightseeing should be restricted to early mornings and evenings. Most desert camps are closed for the season.
